Tragic incident: Medical student dies by suicide in Prayagraj

A 28-year-old medical student, Dr. Kartikeya Srivastava, tragically died in his car at SRN Hospital in Prayagraj on Saturday evening. The incident took place at a hospital affiliated to the government-run Moti Lal Nehru Medical College, where Srivastava also studied.

According to local police, Srivastava, a resident of Kotdwar, Uttarakhand, allegedly injected himself with a poisonous substance. The circumstances surrounding the suicide are currently under investigation.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident involving the field unit, dog unit and surveillance team to collect evidence.
