Cleveland Browns and Las Vegas Raiders odds, tips and predictions

The Cleveland Browns (1-2) hit them Las Vegas Raiders (1-2) for a Week 4 game at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday. Kickoff is scheduled for 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS). Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s 24/7 NFL odds Browns vs. Raiders Opportunitiesand meet our expert NFL picks and predictions.

The Browns lost 21-15 at home to the New York Giants in Week 3. Cleveland was a 6.5-point favorite, but fell to 0-2 as a favorite up (SU) and 0-2 against the spread (ATS) this season. The Under was also able to win money in each of the last two games.

Cleveland’s defense has allowed just 17.0 PPG in the last two games, but the offense has scored 18 or fewer points in all three games, putting a lot of pressure on the D.

The Raiders were embarrassed by the previously winless Carolina Panthers 36-22 last weekend, and now they have a few things to figure out. QB Gardner Minshew was benched in the 4th quarter but is back in the starting lineup. He won’t have a WR Davante Adams due to a hamstring injury and DE Max Crosby is officially classified as doubtful even in defense.

Browns vs. Raiders picks and predictions

forecast

Browns 19, Raiders 16

Money line

The BROWN (-135) It’s worth playing straight if you just want to declare a winner and don’t want to mess around with the points.

It’s a risky business backing Cleveland as it has struggled mightily on offense. QB Deshaun Watson missed TE David Njoku in the passing game, especially for those under routes and as a safety valve. The offensive line was damaged from the jump, so Watson didn’t have much time to operate downfield.

The Raiders’ pass rush (+115) won’t be as good unless Crosby miraculously manages to keep up. So that should help Watson and the Cleveland offense. And the Raiders have problems on offense since there is no Adams and the running game is difficult.

Against the spread

The BROWN -2.5 (-110) It’s worth taking a look at the few points. Although it’s risky since Cleveland is a 0-2 SU/ATS favorite this season, it won and covered in its only road game.

The Raiders +2.5 (-110) will be without Adams and likely Crosby, and those are their two best players. Las Vegas entered the race as a 1-point favorite until this news broke late in the week. That’s how important these two players are.

Over/Under

UNDER 36 (-110) is a low number, but worth playing carefully.

Cleveland has scored 18 or fewer points in every game this season, and Las Vegas managed just 22 points against a poor Carolina defense in Week 3, and now it has to figure out how to score without Adams.

He doesn’t get a lot of touches on the ball, but he does RB Ameer Abdullah is also out, depth at running back is a question, and TE Michael Mayer is traveling with a personal situation.
