Weld County grocery store inspection reports – Greeley Tribune

Weld County rates restaurants, schools, grocery stores and other food-handling establishments on a scale of three categories: passing, requiring reinspection and closed. As part of the county’s assessment index, officials rate facilities on factors such as refrigeration, warming, cooking, cooling and warming equipment, cross-contamination between raw and ready-to-eat foods, and employee hygiene, according to the county.

“Pass” – The facility meets basic food safety standards. The facility could have certain priority, priority, or core violations. Some or all of the violations were corrected upon inspection.

“Re-inspection required” – Food safety violations have been identified and corrections may have been made, but the assessment requires re-inspection to ensure basic food standards are being met.

“Closed” – Significant unsanitary conditions or other immediate health risks have been identified. The facility has multi-priority, core, or high-risk violations. The facility must cease operations until the conditions and violations are corrected.

Facilities rated “closed” and marked with an * indicate that the facility later met the requirements for reopening.
