Yahya Sinwar and high-ranking Hamas officials run after them in fear the wave of murders in Lebanon. Al Arabiya reported on Saturday that Sinwar had changed his location in Gaza following the assassination of Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut. It was also reported that Hamas has changed security protocols for the organization’s leader in the Gaza Strip in recent days.

Sources told the channel, which is owned by Saudi Arabia and broadcasts from Dubai, that Hamas leaders want a future ceasefire to ensure they are not harmed. As an additional precaution, Hamas decided to suspend the organization’s meetings in Lebanon in the near future. In addition, Hamas limits communication within the organization to correspondence only to prevent the possibility of intercepting conversations or locating locations.

“We are sure that this crime and all the crimes and assassinations of the occupation will only influence the resistance in Lebanon and Palestine with determination, and that they will continue and continue on their path with all their strength, courage and pride in the manner of martyrs.” follow in their footsteps and continue the path of resistance and steadfastness to the victory and defeat of the occupation.”

Nasrallah’s maternal cousin, Hashem Safi al-Din, is believed to have survived the attack or was not in the bunker with Nasrallah at the time of the attack. He was named Nasrallah’s successor and has reportedly assumed power, although perhaps in secret for now, pending official Shura Council meetings to appoint a successor.

The appointment of Safi al-Din is a step with double declarative significance – on the one hand, to show continuity and continuity in command and leadership and, on the other hand, to entrust it to someone known for his extreme positions towards Israel and the fight against Israel.
