WATCH: Bison postgame show at Illinois State – InForum

North Dakota State began Missouri Valley Football Conference play with a stunning 42-10 victory over Illinois State on Saturday afternoon in Normal, Illinois.

The Bison defense had its best performance by far, holding the Redbirds to just eight yards and recording five sacks.

Senior defensive tackle Eli Mostaert had two sacks to lead the defense.

Quarterback Cam Miller was his steady man, completing 20 of 23 passes for 216 yards and three touchdowns.

Running back Marty Brown ran for 100 yards and a touchdown.
