Cauthron had worked as a firefighter for years, repeatedly risking his life to ensure the safety of others.

Adam was married to Nicole and had two children, Broden and Brynlie. To support the grieving family, a GoFundMe A fundraiser has been set up.

So far, the fundraiser has had excellent results, raising approximately $40,000 for the Cauthrons.

A friend of the late firefighter paid tribute to him and showed how incredible he was as a man and father.

“I worked with Adam at Webb 18 years ago. We were ER techs and he was the very first person I practiced drawing blood on and I will never forget those days… a great family man and I even got to teach his kids to swim!! I am extremely sad to hear of his passing and pray for his family and friends!” The tribute read.

The family requests privacy at this time and will announce funeral arrangements in due course.
