The nonprofit honors some of the brightest minds at the STEMmys Awards Show in Cincinnati

CINCINNATI (WKRC) – The Gaskins Foundation recognized some of the brightest minds in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) at the STEMmys Awards Show held Saturday night at the Graduate Hotel.

The event, honoring African Americans in greater southern Ohio and northern Kentucky, was an elegant affair with guest speakers, dinner and live music.

The Gaskins Foundation, a nonprofit organization, aims to help underrepresented youth become leaders in STEM fields.
