Manimajra: A 24-year-old teacher at a local place Madrasa In ChandigarhManimajra was arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a 13-year-old student. The incident came to light after the victim informed his family, who then reported the incident to the police.

According to police, the teacher called the boy into his room during school hours and asked him to massage his legs. The teacher then touched the boy inappropriately. The boy’s family immediately contacted the police after learning about the incident.

The defendant is under the protection of children from sexual offenses (POCSO) law and will be presented to the court on Saturday. The victim underwent medical examination and his statement was recorded by the police.

Police are now investigating whether the teacher has been involved in similar incidents in the past. Statements from other madrasa employees were also collected as part of the ongoing investigation.

Senior police officials, including the police officer and deputy commissioner of police, were present at the madrasa to investigate the matter.

In another news, a few days ago, a horrific story emerged about the murder of a six-year-old girl in the Torni Primary School premises in Dahod, Gujarat. In connection with the case, Govind Natt, the 55-year-old director of the institution, has been identified as an accused. Times Now sources claim that the first grader was killed when she rejected Natt’s advances for a year sexual assault.

According to Dahod Superintendent of Police Rajdeepsinh Jhala, the girl’s mother had dropped her off at the principal’s car early in the morning as she believed she would be safe in his care. But when the girl refused the principal’s rape attempt, the principal killed her and deformed her body on the school premises, the sources said.
