Jabalpur: A 48-year-old man was arrested for sexually assaulting a 10-year-old boy in the last two months in Jabalpur district on Saturday.
According to information from Gohalpur Police Station Manager Pratiksha Marko, the accused owns a butcher shop in Ahmed Nagar. The irrelevant A local boy often passed by his shop. About two months ago, when the boy was passing by, the accused took him to his shop and committed the crime. He then threatened to kill the boy if he told anyone about the incident. When the minor passed the defendant’s shop again on September 26, the defendant forcibly took him into the store and repeated the crime. When she got home, the child informed her family about the incident.
The family then filed a police report. Police have registered a case against the accused under relevant sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act and the BNS, police said.
