A three-vehicle accident results in the complete closure of IH-69

A serious multi-car accident has led to a complete road closure on a Houston highway.

The accident occurred on IH-69 Eastex Southbound at Greens Road. and was reported just before 8:30 p.m. Saturday evening. All main lanes as well as the left and right shoulders are currently closed.

This is the second full highway closure in Houston Saturday evening.

One person was transported to a nearby hospital, but the condition of those involved is unknown at this time.
