Sobhita Dhulipala’s wedding drama Love, Sitara goes wrong!

Love, Sitara is a refreshing family drama streaming on Zee5 directed by Vandana Kataria and starring Sobhita Dhulipala, who is making headlines after her recent engagement to Naga Chaitanya.

The story revolves around Sitara, a young woman who seems to have it all – a successful career, understanding parents, a loving boyfriend and close friends.

But her life takes an unexpected turn when she finds out she is pregnant. She decides to hold a simple wedding at her grandmother’s house in Kerala and bring her loved ones together for the occasion.

Everything seems to be going smoothly until Sitara begins to question her decisions, which leads to emotional confrontations within the family.

Love Sitara fails to showcase Sobhita Dhulipala’s talents, which raises the question as to why she doesn’t get better roles despite her impressive performances in projects like Goodachari and Made in Heaven.

Directed by Vandana Kataria, the film has problems with its plot and messy subplots that don’t fit together well. The character development is weak. The film often judges its characters rather than examining their decisions.

Despite its short running time, “Love Sitara” feels long and tiring due to its poorly connected storylines. Sangeet and Siddharth Haldipur’s music adds some energy, but the camerawork, while visually appealing, uses strange hues that detract from the story.

Overall, the casting decisions seem out of place, separating the actors from their roles and the world of the film, resulting in a disappointing viewing experience for the OTT audience.
