According to police, the victim was hospitalized following the shooting on Genesis Circle

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Memphis Police are investigating a shooting that left one person injured.

At approximately 7:10 p.m., officers responded to a shooting on Genesis Circle near Clancy Street.

When police arrived, they discovered a victim had been shot.

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

There is currently no suspect information.
