Tragic accident in Madhya Pradesh: three dead, five injured

Three people died and five others were injured in a fatal accident in Madhya Pradesh’s Chhatarpur district when an SUV rammed into a stationary tractor-trailer on Saturday, local law enforcement agencies reported.

According to Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Vikram Singh, six people had taken shelter from the rain under the car along Khajuraho Road, about 12 km from district headquarters Chhatarpur.

The deceased included SUV driver Shakti Singh (50), Dharmendra Singh (55) and Nati Raja (35). A four-year-old boy was seriously injured and referred to Gwalior for further medical treatment, while other persons sustained minor injuries.
