Tropes Update; Reports from South Texas | Role report

I don’t want to keep mentioning the tropes, but I think it’s important so we don’t become complacent. In fact, hurricane season doesn’t officially end until November 30th.

The area of unsettled weather being monitored by the National Hurricane Center has a 40 percent chance of developing into a tropical system within the next seven days. The overall steering pattern of this system is northwestward, potentially bringing it into the Gulf of Mexico by Wednesday of this week. After that, its direction is only known once a circulation center has formed. I suggest you review your hurricane plan just in case. Don’t wait to act.
