Judge formally sentences former New Braunfels police officer in child porn case | News

A Guadalupe County district judge added prison time to the suspended sentence a jury recommended for the child pornography conviction of a former New Braunfels Police Department lieutenant.

Back in August, jurors recommended a six-year suspended sentence for 43-year-old Jacob Pullen, whom they convicted of seven counts of possession of child pornography. 25th Judicial District Judge William D. Old III sentenced Pullen on Thursday to eight years probation and 10 days in jail, said Gina Motz, one of Pullen’s defense attorneys.
