Two brothers were found dead during rituals and four were found dead in hospital

October 19, 2024: In a shocking incident in Tanduldih village, two brothers were found dead under mysterious circumstances while four other family members were hospitalized after performing rituals in the last few days. The victims have been identified as Vikas Gond (25) and Vicky Gond (22).

According to Additional Superintendent of Police Rama Patel, the family was engaged in rituals when neighbors became worried after hearing loud chants coming from their locked house. When police responded to the alarm, they discovered the brothers unconscious, surrounded by family members who were still in the middle of the rituals. According to reports, a photo of a ‘godman’ from Ujjain was placed in front of them.

Both brothers were taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead. Her mother Pirit Bai (70) as well as her sisters Chandrika and Amrika and another brother Vishal are currently undergoing medical treatment.

Preliminary autopsy reports indicated the presence of a toxic substance in the brothers’ bodies, but the exact cause of death is still being determined. Authorities have registered a report of accidental death and a thorough investigation is underway to unravel the circumstances of this tragic event.
