Serious car accident in Spokane County as deputies and firefighters respond on North Fairview Road

SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane County officials and firefighters are on the scene of a serious car accident on North Fairview Road outside of Mead.

According to a Spokane County Fire District 9 spokesperson, both Spokane County deputies and firefighters are responding to the incident at North Fairview Road and East Piper Road. Injuries have been reported, but the extent is unknown at this time. Firefighters are urging motorists to avoid the area as investigators are on scene and they expect the road to be closed for some time.
