No. 23 Army will face East Carolina, which is 3-3 overall but has proven to be a tough matchup.

However, if Army wins this contest, the team will be one step closer to its spot in the conference championship.

I expect Army to win, but East Carolina will cover the spread at +16.5. I also expect the game to score less than 51.5 total points.

Not only was the army extremely dominant, it was also consistent. The Black Knights have scored at least 37 points in all but one game so far, and they haven’t allowed anyone to score more than 14 points.

But their competition wasn’t the best. They have defeated five conference opponents, none with a record better than 2-4 overall, as well as one FCS team.

East Carolina is coming off a loss to Charlotte, but the Pirates previously beat UTSA and had close games against Liberty and App State. This team is physical and may not let Army run the ball as effectively as she is used to.

For this reason, I think this will end up being a low-scoring matchup. But in the end, I think quarterback Bryson Daily, one of the best rushers in the country, leads Army to another win with a 10-point win.
