Sophie Cachia reveals ‘horrifying’ details about shocking breast cancer scare when she was just 21

Sophie Cachia has opened up about a shock cancer scare she once went through after discovering a lump in her breast.

The former WAG, 33, posted a clip to Instagram on Friday evening revealing the details of the harrowing health crisis.

She explained that she discovered a lump in her breast when she was just 21 years old and endured a “horrifying” ordeal.

“When I was just 21 years old, I discovered a lump beneath the surface of my left nipple. “My mom took me straight to our doctor,” Sophie told her fans.

The sleepwear entrepreneur said she was extremely worried until she was assured by a top doctor that the lump was not cancerous.

“That afternoon I sat in the office of one of Melbourne’s best breast specialists and they said the lump they found was harmless,” she said.

Sophie said she was “one of the very lucky ones” who survived such a frightening experience unscathed.

She urged her followers to support a breast cancer charity by purchasing Cygnett’s new pink power bank, with proceeds going to the McGrath Foundation.

Many of Sophie’s followers quickly took to the comments section to thank her for sharing her harrowing story.

‘Thank you very much. I would be lost without my breast nurse,” one woman wrote, and a second added, “You make a difference to so many.”

Elsewhere, Sophie is currently counting down the days until the birth of her third child.

Sophie already has a son, Bobby, nine, and a daughter, Florence, seven, with AFL star Jaryd, who she confirmed she split from at the end of 2019.

And in July, tThe former WAG influencer confirmed she is expecting her third child.

She made the surprise announcement with sweet photos of herself cuddling in bed with her two children.

Sophie, who has not confirmed the identity of the father or sperm donor, later announced that she will give birth to a baby girl.
