Hardy County is investigating allegations of sexual assault by a Moorefield HS student

MOOREFIELD, W.Va. (WHSV) – There is an active investigation into allegations of sexual assault against a student at Moorefield High School in Hardy County, West Virginia.

After hearing from concerned community members, WHSV contacted the Hardy County School Board. Hardy County Superintendent Sheena Van Meter issued the following statement:

WHSV contacted the Hardy County Sheriff’s Office for comment but did not receive a response prior to publication.
