The new “Tonight Show” change includes a post-football edition

It’s a strange time for late-night television. Earlier this year, NBC decided to switch The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon from five new episodes per week to four. What’s NBC’s next move for its flagship late-night show? As The Hollywood Reporter‘s Alex Weprin writes that audiences will soon see the show make a rare weekend appearance Football on Sunday evenings‘s Colts-Jets matchup on November 17th.
