A religious teacher is accused of sexually abusing six young children while teaching at a school in Valencia

A MAN who taught religion to young children at a Valencia-area school has been arrested for sexually assaulting children.

The 47-year-old suspect was arrested by the Policia Nacional on six counts of assaults on children – all students at the unnamed school in the l’Horta region.

The matter came to light after the mother of a four-year-old boy lodged a complaint with the school principal on October 7.
