Police reported that Liam’s room was allegedly found vandalized, with various items smashed and broken.

Worrying images also showed white powder and burnt aluminum foil in his room after he tragically fell, according to Argentine media.

Police will test these suspected items to determine if they are illegal substances.

An autopsy revealed the star died from severe “internal and external bleeding” from the fall, adding that Liam may have been unconscious at the time.

According to reports, the prosecutor’s office also interviewed five people immediately after the music star’s discovery.

According to the Argentine newspaper Clarin, these people included two women who were believed to have been with 31-year-old Liam before his death and three employees of the Casa Sur hotel where the musician had stayed.

Police reportedly added that the two women had left the hotel before Liam’s death.

Hotel staff said in a 911 call that the star was acting “erratically” and said he “may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.”

Police reportedly plan to file two criminal charges in connection with Wednesday’s incident.

Local media claimed it could involve “providing narcotics and providing a place for their consumption.”

Liam was also reportedly seen arguing with a mystery woman at the hotel just three hours before the fatal incident.

A guest at Hotel Casa Sur, Michael Fleischmann, claimed the musician was “very upset” and was shouting about money in front of other people.

Fleischmann told local newspaper The Buenos Aires Herald that the incident occurred around 2 p.m. local time.
