Hamilton man is accused of sexually assaulting two women

A 38-year-old Hamilton man is facing charges after he offered two young women a ride, then took them back to his apartment and sexually assaulted them, police said.

According to police, the suspect was driving a green Dodge pickup truck in the area of ​​Cannon and Sherman streets on Oct. 3 when he approached the victims.

The suspect is then said to have taken the victims back to his apartment, where the alleged sexual assaults occurred.

The incident was then reported to police on October 13th.

Dwayne Smith, of Hamilton, has since been arrested and charged with two counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual battery and one count of possession of child pornography.

In a news release issued Friday, police said investigators believe there may be more victims who have not yet come forward.
