Last day of the 2024 SOAR Summit

Starting Wednesday, people gathered in downtown Pikeville for the 2024 Shaping Our Appalachian Region (SOAR) Summit.

SOAR Chief Operating Officer Joshua Ball said more than 800 people registered for the event.

Summit attendees listened to speaker sessions, met local leaders and made plans for a better region.
