Zayn Malik and Niall Horan share heartbreaking tribute to Liam Payne’s tragic death

Reminiscing about the good times we had together, Horan added: “All the laughter we have had over the years, sometimes over the simplest things, always comes back to us despite the sadness. We were able to achieve our wildest dreams together and I will forever cherish every moment we had. The bond and friendship we had doesn’t come along often in life.”

Zayn Malik wanted to hug Liam Payne again

While Horan admitted that he was able to spend some time with Payne recently, the singer explained, “Unfortunately, I didn’t know that after I said goodbye to him that night and hugged him, I would be saying goodbye forever. It’s heartbreaking.”

Following Horan’s statement, Malik also posted a picture of himself and Payne. In the picture, the two are huddled together and urgently sleeping. Malik captioned the post: “Liam I was talking to you out loud hoping you could hear me. I can’t help but selfishly think that there are so many more conversations to have in our lives. “I’ve never been able to thank you for supporting me through some of the most difficult times of my life.”
