The busy road in Lexington was backed up after the accident

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – A busy road in Lexington is clogged following an accident Friday morning.

Emergency crews were called to Nicholasville Road near Fayette Mall just before 8 a.m. Friday for a crash that resulted in injuries.

While emergency crews respond, two of the four access lanes are blocked, but the road remains open.
