Bunker man fatally injured in fall accident on Thursday

Bunker, MO. – Troop G of the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a fatal accident occurred last night at 7:20 p.m.

This accident occurred on Highway KK in Reynolds County, approximately 10 miles northeast of Bunker. A 59-year-old local resident, Russell Shipp, was driving a Lincoln Towncar south on the highway before he left the roadway, causing the vehicle to overturn.

Shipp was fatally injured and pronounced dead at 8:45 p.m.

The investigation into this crash was conducted by Master Sergeant MJ Chastain.
