One person has died in a fatal crash in LaPorte County

LAPORTE COUNTY, Ind. (WNDU) – One person is dead after a pickup truck overturned and struck trees on CR 800 North.

The driver of the green 2012 Chevrolet pickup, 48-year-old Craig RAAS, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The pickup was traveling eastbound on CR 800 North when it turned left of center, crossed the westbound lane and exited the northbound side of the roadway.

Toxicology test results are currently pending and no further information is available.
