Pinellas Park Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a motorcyclist

On the evening of Thursday, October 17, 2024, at approximately 9:27 p.m., Pinellas Park Police responded to reports of a vehicle versus motorcycle accident in the 6700 block of Park Blvd.

Initial investigation revealed that the driver of a Suzuki motorcycle traveling westbound on Park Blvd collided with a black Mazda sedan and was turning left from the eastbound lane.

The motorcycle struck the passenger side of the sedan, causing an impact. All those involved were transported to local hospitals for treatment.

The adult male driver of the motorcycle died from his injuries in hospital, while the other people involved were reportedly in stable condition.

The Mazda driver is cooperating with authorities and there are currently no criminal charges pending.

The investigation is still ongoing.
