1 dead after fire and explosion at home in Chester County, Pennsylvania

Fire units are on the scene of a house fire and explosion in Honey Brook in Chester County, Pennsylvania.

Fire officials confirmed one person was killed and an explosion in the 200 block of Hunter’s Run Road is under investigation.

The emergency services are still on site.

Honey Brook Fire Company said motorists should use caution and avoid the area.

Helicopter 3 arrived at the scene and most of the flames were extinguished. It appeared as if emergency services had cleared smoking hotspots.
