Fire units are on the scene of a house fire and explosion in Honey Brook in Chester County, Pennsylvania.

Fire officials confirmed one person was killed and an explosion in the 200 block of Hunter’s Run Road is under investigation.

Honey Brook and regional relief agencies are responding to a serious house fire on Hunter’s Run Road. Be careful in the area.

We are working to confirm further information about the cause of the fire and whether there are any additional injuries.

Helicopter 3 arrived at the scene and most of the flames were extinguished. It appeared as if emergency services had cleared smoking hotspots.
