Multi-vehicle crash closes Route 309 in Montco

UPPER DUBLIN TOWNSHIP, Pa. – State Route 309 northbound is closed between Highland Avenue and Susquehanna Road due to a multi-vehicle crash early Friday morning, police said.

Upper Township police are asking motorists to avoid the area and seek an alternate route.

The closure will remain in place until further notice, the police said.

Traffic will be detoured to the Highland Avenue exit, with Bethlehem Pike or Susquehanna Road proposed as access to northbound Route 309.

There is no information on how long the road is expected to be closed.
