Child injured in Prince George’s County shooting

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. – A child was hospitalized after a reported shooting Wednesday.

Prince George’s County Police received a call about the incident on October 16 at approximately 6:45 p.m. in the 4000 block of Saint Barnabas Road.

Upon arrival, officers found no evidence of a shooting, but did find a vehicle with a broken window. According to police, a small child was injured by the broken glass and was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The investigation into the circumstances of the shooting is ongoing.
