Two people were injured in a shooting attack near Neot Kikar in the Dead Sea area, Israeli media reported on Friday.

The military said IDF troops captured two terrorists who crossed into Israeli territory from Jordan in the Dead Sea area.

Troops were deployed to the area after identifying terrorists who had invaded Israeli territory, the military said.

Two terrorists opened fire on the soldiers and were then thwarted, the IDF said.
