Young woman sexually abused in Wodonga by cyclist who followed her while shopping

A young woman was sexually assaulted by a man on a bicycle who followed her while she shopped in Victoria.

The 22-year-old was walking down High Street in Wodonga when she noticed the man following her from shop to shop at 4.30pm on September 16.

When she noticed him, the man approached her and sexually assaulted her as he rode past.

The victim was not physically injured and raised the alarm.

The police are now looking for the perpetrator, who is described as Caucasian, around 175 to 180 cm tall and with a moustache.

At the time of the attack, he was wearing a black cap, a hoodie with red trim, a large gold watch, black jeans and white Nike running shoes.

He rode a black mountain bike.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information is asked to contact the police.
