Four people have been arrested in connection with a gang robbery in Ithaca

ITHACA, NY (WETM) – Four people have been arrested in connection with a gang attack that occurred at Ithaca Commons in August.

According to Ithaca Police Department reports, three juveniles and one adult have been identified as the subjects involved in a reported fight that occurred on August 24 in the 200 block of East State Street. After identification, the four involved were arrested on charges of second-degree gang assault, a Class C felony.

Steuben County Jail inmate charged with assault

The three juveniles were taken to Tompkins County Family Court and released to their parents. The adult, identified as 21-year-old Kaeden Denmark of Spencer, was read his charges in Ithaca Municipal Court and returned to the Tompkins County Jail.

The incident was previously investigated as a potential hate crime, but after a thorough investigation, police said no evidence was found to support the claim.
