UI reports the largest freshman class in school history

MOSCOW – The University of Idaho announces its fall 2024 freshman class is the largest in school history.

This is the third record-breaking freshman class in as many years, according to a UI news release. There are 2,025 freshmen enrolled this fall, an increase of 8.3% compared to Fall 2023.

There are 12,286 total students enrolled for this fall semester, an increase of nearly 4% from the fall 2023 enrollment of 11,849 students. This is the seventh consecutive year that the school’s enrollment has increased. Total enrollment of non-dual credit high school students enrolled in college courses increased 5.1% to 10,578.
