CM Punk will star in Night Patrol
CM Punk is expected to appear in the upcoming horror thriller “Night Patrol.” He joined the film’s star roster, which includes Justin Long, Jermaine Fowler, Dermot Mulroney and RJ Cyler. Ryan Prows will direct the indie horror film, with David S. Goyer, Keith Levine, Josh Goldbloom, James Harris and Mark Lane producing the upcoming film.

Prows also co-wrote the script with Shaye Ogbonna, Tim Cairo and Jake Gibson, which wrapped filming in Los Angeles this week, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The report also revealed that WWE superstar CM Punk will play a key role in the film. “Audiences are not prepared for how hard this film is. Shooting this script with this cast on location in Los Angeles, after such a long journey to get here, is nothing short of a dream,” Prows said in a statement (via THR).
The film’s plot follows an LAPD officer (Fowler) who is forced to put aside his conflicts with local street gangs after uncovering a disturbing secret within a police task force. This hidden threat seriously endangers the lives of residents of the housing projects where he grew up. Punk plays the sergeant’s brutal right hand man in the film. According to reports, the film will be released in 2025.
In June of this year, Punk signed a deal with Paradigm for full representation, Deadline exclusively reported. The WWE star wants to expand his presence in the entertainment industry. Punk, a legendary figure in professional wrestling, continues to make waves following his return to WWE and his role as a guest commentator at WrestleMania XL. He also appeared in popular shows like Mayans MC and Heels and left his mark in the entertainment industry. He also appeared in indies such as The Girl on the Third Floor and Jakob’s Wife.
