Liam Payne’s untimely death in Buenos Aires has stunned the music industry and prompted a statement from his family.

Former One Direction member Liam Payne tragically died aged 31 after falling from his hotel room balcony in Argentina. Shortly after the singer’s death, Payne’s family released a statement expressing that he was a brave and humorous person.

After his family’s heartfelt comments about the former boy band member, celebrities from the music industry also paid their respects to the talented young artist.

In their statement, the family said: “We are heartbroken. Liam will live forever in our hearts and we will remember him for his kind, funny and brave soul.” The statement continued: “We support each other as a family as best we can and ask for privacy during this terrible time and freedom.”

As for the singer, a paramedic in Buenos Aires reported that Payne was pronounced dead at the scene after allegedly falling from the third floor. He reportedly suffered fatal injuries, including a fractured skull and other serious injuries.

As news of the singer’s death spread, fans gathered outside the hotel where he was staying to pay their respects. He leaves behind his parents, sisters and the 7-year-old son he had with his ex, Cheryl Cole.
