Investigations are underway after a collision between an SUV and a scooter in Miami-Dade

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Florida. – Law enforcement officials are investigating a scooter-vehicle accident in northwest Miami-Dade County.

Local 10 News cameras observed a red SUV with a cracked windshield along Northwest 46th Street and 27th Avenue.

First responders took the person driving the scooter to Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Local 10 News has asked authorities for an update on this person’s health, to see if any arrests have been made and to investigate the circumstances leading up to the crash.
