Hotel guest heard ‘violent screams’ before Liam Payne’s tragic death at hotel in Buenos Aires.

A hotel guest staying at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires said he heard disturbing noises and a “violent scream” coming from Liam Payne’s room before the singer tragically died on October 16 at the age of 31 fell.

The guest described hearing “a lot of noise,” which he initially mistook for construction work, followed by loud noises such as “bangs” and “heaving.” Minutes later, around 4:30 p.m., more noise was heard, and shortly after, the guest recalled hearing “a really loud, violent scream” before police arrived on the scene.

Payne died shortly afterwards from multiple injuries and internal and external bleeding, the National Prosecuting Authority for Penal and Correctional Institutions confirmed. The autopsy found that 25 injuries were “consistent with those caused by a fall from a height” and that his head injuries were sufficient to cause death.

Prior to the incident, the hotel’s head receptionist had called 911 and expressed concern about Payne’s behavior, stating that he appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol and that his life could be in danger due to his proximity to the balcony.​

Payne’s tragic death continues to shock fans and the music community, and he leaves behind his seven-year-old son Bear Grey, whom he shared with his ex Cheryl.
