Police investigate stabbing in Santa Monica

A homeless man remained in serious but stable condition at a hospital Thursday after being stabbed by a suspect in Santa Monica.

According to the Santa Monica Police Department, officers responded to the area of ​​Fifth Court and Broadway around 7 p.m. Wednesday for a person with a stab wound. The victim was taken to a hospital by Santa Monica Fire Department paramedics.

Investigators described the suspect as a man in his 20s with dreadlocks and a distinctive “FTP” facial tattoo.
