Chuck E. Cheese and Harlem Globetrotters join forces in entertainment partnership 10/18/2024

Two classic family brands have joined forces to bring basketball and entertainment to fans across the United States

This week, Chuck E. Cheese announced a new collaboration with the Harlem Globetrotters, the American basketball team that has been entertaining children and their families since 1926.

The collaboration comes just as the Harlem Globetrotters embark on their 2025 world tour, and Chuck E Cheese will be at the center of it all. The games and related content will be broadcast across Chuck E. Cheese’s in-store media network, which consists of over 3,000 screens in 470 locations in 45 states.

The multi-year partnership also includes experiential activations from both brands with promotions and original content at 250 domestic stops on the Globetrotter tour.

“This collaboration allows us to introduce the sport of basketball to young fans and families in a fun and engaging way,” said David McKillips, president and CEO of CEC Entertainment, the parent company of Chuck E. Cheese, in a press release.

Chuck E. Cheese himself (himself?) is also getting in on the action, taking on the new honorary role of “Celebration Coach” and appearing at personal events.
