4 people wanted for shooting, killing driver, causing accident – NBC10 Philadelphia

Four men are wanted in connection with a fatal shooting that resulted in a multi-car crash in West Philadelphia in August 2024, according to Philadelphia Police Department officials.

The shooting happened just before 1 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, in the 5400 block of Walnut Street, police said.

A man in his 30s, later identified as Tyree Allen, was killed as he sat in his car and was shot multiple times, officials said.

According to police, the suspects were driving an allegedly stolen maroon Jeep Grand Cherokee when they opened fire on the victim.

Both the victim’s car and the Jeep later crashed about a block from the scene of the shooting, police said.

The four suspects are accused of then running away before two of them hid from police by lying on the porch of a neighboring home, officials said.

In surveillance video shared by Philadelphia police, the maroon Jeep can be seen at an intersection with the victim’s sedan before both vehicles drive down the street.

The video then cuts to show the four suspects running down the sidewalk in the opposite direction of the vehicles.
