Case details

Diallo was released from jail on a $500 Waukesha County bond in a bail jumping case after he was stopped for running a red light.

Late Tuesday evening, April 23, the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office said a deputy attempted to stop Diallo.

Instead, Diallo took off and ran a red light at the intersection of 27th and St. Paul, hitting two vehicles.

Significant damage to one of the vehicles

In one of them there was a 69-year-old man and a 65-year-old woman. Both died. The Milwaukee County Coroner’s Office identified them as John S. Zablocki and Barbara Zablocki.

“The driver of the second vehicle struck, who was the sole occupant, was reportedly uninjured,” said Milwaukee County Sheriff Denita Ball.

“He just crashed into me, and then the airbags deployed and all the smoke and all the other junk came out,” said Drew Jefferson, who survived the accident.

Fatal accident at 27th and St. Paul, Milwaukee

The sheriff’s office said Diallo was revived at the scene. A gun and drugs were found and he should not have been allowed to drive.

Last September, Waukesha County officials used a drone’s thermal imaging camera to find him hiding in a backyard after a chase and accident.

Diallo was charged in this case with, among other things, carrying a concealed weapon and drug offenses. In that case, he posted $3,000 bail.

According to court documents, in January 2024 he ran a red light near 27th and Juneau in Milwaukee. Police said they found a gun magazine and his driver’s license was revoked.
