4 dead in Darlington County crash

DARLINGTON COUNTY, SC (WMBF) – An accident on the Pee Dee on Thursday left four people dead.

LCpl. Lena Butler with the South Carolina Highway Patrol said the crash occurred in the area of ​​SC 403 and SC 340 near Timmonsville just before 2:15 p.m.

Butler said the accident occurred when a 2007 Ford Edge, a 2007 Honda Accord and a 2013 BMW 750 collided on SC 403.

The four people in the BMW died in the accident. The driver of the Ford was also taken to a hospital.

The driver of the Honda was not injured, Butler said.
