Man killed in car crash in Pemiscot County

HAYTI, Mo. (KFVS) – A Kennett man has died in a car accident in Pemiscot County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol Crash Report, the accident occurred around 5 a.m. on Thursday, October 17th. The driver was traveling west on Highway 84, one mile west of Hayti.

The accident occurred when a 2018 Dodge Charger left the right side of the road, struck an embankment and rolled over.

The driver was identified as 21-year-old Tyler S. Hightower of Kennett, Missouri. Hightower was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:30 a.m. by Pemiscot County Coroner Brian Irions

According to MSHP, Hightower was not wearing a safety device during the crash.
