Pedestrian dies in hospital days after car crash: Winnipeg police

A 75-year-old man has died in hospital after being struck by a vehicle earlier this month.

The pedestrian was struck by a black 2022 Kia Seltos in the area of ​​Corydon Avenue and Lilac Street on the morning of Oct. 3, Winnipeg police said in a news release Thursday.

The accident was reported to police around 9:45 a.m

The driver of the vehicle remained after the accident to speak with police, the release said.

The 75-year-old man was taken to hospital in an unstable condition but died on October 11 as a result of the accident.

Winnipeg police continue to investigate.
