One Direction members pay tribute to Liam Payne following his tragic death

One Direction’s Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan have broken their silence on the tragic death of their bandmate Liam Payne.

One Direction band members Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan have shared an emotional tribute to their friend and bandmate Liam Payne following his tragic death.

Liam Payne died at the age of 31 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, after falling from the third floor of a hotel. The shocking news sparked an outpouring of tributes from fans and the celebrity world.

Now Liam’s bandmates have broken their silence on his death and released a joint statement on social media.

“We were completely devastated by the news of Liam’s death. As time goes on and everyone is able, there will be more to say. But for now we will take some time to grieve and process the loss of our brother. We loved him very much. Our thoughts are forever with his family, friends and the fans who loved him. We will miss him terribly.

Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan first met in 2010 when they formed a boy band on talent show The X Factor after each auditioning as solo artists before One Direction formed .

While the boys didn’t win The X Factor and missed out on the crown to Matt Cardle, they did get a record deal with Simon Cowell Syco Records and released their first song What makes you beautiful? in September 2011.

From 2011 to 2016, when the band took a break, they released a total of five albums; Up all night, Take me home, Midnight memories, Four And Made in AM and achieved international success with hits like Best song of all time, story of my life, Night changes, Little things, Steal my girl And Perfect.

In March 2015, Zayn Malik announced that he was leaving the band, stating in a statement: “I would like to apologize to the fans if I let anyone down, but I have to do what’s in my heart feels right.”

Liam, Harry, Niall and Louis continued to release music and tour as a foursome until January 2016, when they announced they would be taking a break while the bandmates focused on other projects.

In 2017, Liam entered the music industry as a solo artist and released his first hit song Take this off with rapper Quavo. This was followed by the publication of Get low the same year, next to it Bedroom floor, For you, Trusted, For the first timeAnd Polaroid. Some of these hits appeared on his solo album, LP1published in 2019.
