Moses Lake man sentenced to life in prison for child rape

A Grant County man could spend the rest of his life in prison after being convicted of raping a child.

Judge Anna Gigliotti announced the sentence Tuesday in Grant County Superior Court against 63-year-old Dale Lewis of Moses Lake.

Prosecutors say Lewis sexually assaulted a 13-year-old girl in February 2021.

Lewis must spend nearly eight years in prison before being eligible for parole.
